From the organisers of the International Broadcasting Convention, the main annual event for professionals engaged in the creation, management and delivery of content worldwide, IBC 365 will serve as a new year-round presence for the annual IBC Show in Amsterdam in September.
IBC365 is a totally revamped version of the IBC.org website. For each of the topics covered (production, content management, delivery, consumption, tech advances, and video on demand), you can now access a rich feed on industry trends, thought leadership, executive interviews, videos and technical papers.
The new website aims to provide a new stream of IBC-generated business insight and original content throughout the year. Based on extensive independent research, the new platform has been designed to strengthen IBC’s remit to be run “by the industry, for the industry” for the 1,700+ exhibitors and 55,000+ annual visitors to the show.
In addition to serving the broadcast and media community, the research also identified a number of key adjacent markets such as Cloud, AR/VR, Mobile, IoT, Social Networks, Artificial Intelligence and Telcoms. IBC365 is now live and can be accessed here. Hundreds of articles and videos, including industry trends, executive interviews, thought leadership, technology papers and sponsored content across Production, Content Management, Delivery, Consumption and Technology Advances are available free of charge. In addition, specially commissioned content specifically aimed at those adjacent markets, and all of it will be aligned with the themes, sessions and speakers at IBC 2017. “IBC365 enables us to deliver this invaluable market information and high quality content whenever and wherever it is needed. This will also allow us to reach out to new markets and draw them into the IBC community” said IBC Chief Executive Michael Crimp.
